The benefit of the online format is the ability to access your coursework whenever and wherever you wish without any limitations. All is required is a computer, an Internet connection and a desire to learn about horses.

It depends, the Equine Manager certificate and the Equine Business Professional certificate have a different number of required courses. The Equine Manager Certificate contains four courses, making the total amount of time to complete eight (8) weeks or two months. The Equine Business Certificate requires three (3) courses, making the total amount of time to complete six (6) weeks or a month and a half.
The Equine Business certificate focuses on helping students learn how to manage their establishment as a business, giving an insight into sales and marketing. It will help you learn the Equine industry from a business standpoint. On the other hand, the Equine Manager certificate gives the perspective of a farm or barn manager. Classes are meant to help people understand horse anatomy, nutrition and show how to manage a working farm.
You can certainly earn both certificates, just one at a time. It is important to note that each certification has courses only tailored to that certificate, for example: The Equine Business certificate contains a ‘Sales and Marketing’ class while The Equine Manager certification has classes on Nutrition and Horse anatomy. We recommend starting with one certification and then moving on to the next one with the credits earned from the previous certificate.
